Problems with confirmation for filming CCTV

Last week i went into the local shop in Elsenham and asked whether I would be able to film the CCTV screen to give the sense of our victim being watched in our music video. Unfortunately, we were declined the permission by the manager of the shop "Chloe Fisher", this would have been a very interesing shot to use and would have benifitted us a lot in that it would assist the audience in understanding the narrative of our production. However, we have worked our way round this and have used other shots to suggest her being watched.
